Project Manager II

About the role

Seattle Children’s is seeking a seasoned Project Manager II to align large‑scale projects with institutional goals. You will act as the primary liaison, driving project execution, issue resolution, and final results while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle project management from initiation to close for high‑impact initiatives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for large projects, coordinating with vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Coach staff on project coordination and management activities.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Implement improvement processes across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or project management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years managing large projects.
• Proven experience working with vendors, consultants, and purchased services.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Project Management, health administration, business, or consulting.
• Experience in change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
