Project Manager – Electrical Transformers

About the role

CORE Transformers is looking for an on‑site Project Manager to lead electrical transformer projects from pre‑sales through delivery and closeout. You will act as the primary customer liaison, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own project delivery by managing schedules, scope, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the main customer contact, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and handling escalations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Oversee technical documentation, submittals, manufacturing drawings, revisions, and change orders.
• Track project costs, profitability, and scope changes while improving reporting and processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project, program, or operations leadership in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered‑to‑order environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations or related field; PMP or MBA is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑unit projects with long timelines and firm deadlines.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer‑relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP/CRM workflows.
• Understanding of supply chain fundamentals.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
