Project Manager – Electrical & Controls

About the role

Shermco Systems Integration is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical and controls projects from inception through completion. The role is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, safety and client satisfaction, acting as the primary point of contact for field teams, clients and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, resource coordination, execution and close‑out.
• Monitor budgets, review technician time and material costs, manage cash flow and profitability, and provide revenue forecasting and invoicing.
• Serve as the main liaison between the field, clients and internal teams, delivering status updates and resolving issues.
• Coordinate technical requirements and deliverables across departments to present a unified front to the client.
• Identify, negotiate and manage change orders and expanded scopes with customers and account managers.
• Allocate tasks, manage subcontractors and ensure safety is treated as a personal core value.
• Collaborate with accounting on paperwork and support special projects as requested.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical project management within industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems and electrical construction.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
