Project Manager – Digital Agency

About the role

The Project Manager will own and execute day‑to‑day activities on client projects for One North, a digital agency. Working remotely with a light hybrid presence at the downtown Chicago office, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure engagements meet client expectations and deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Scope, estimate, and plan work collaboratively to drive new project sales and delivery.
• Manage project budgets, revenue forecasting, margin targets, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional work streams across strategy, design, UX, and web development.
• Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and requirement definitions.
• Monitor scope, risk, schedule, budget, and delivery quality, escalating issues when necessary.
• Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge‑management initiatives.
• Mentor team members and foster a high‑performing project environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional project management experience, preferably in a client‑services or digital‑agency setting.
• High emotional intelligence with strong client empathy.
• Proven ability to deliver multi‑faceted projects on time and within budget.
• Detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong planning and organizational skills.
