Project Manager – Cyber Policy

About the role

Parsons seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a high‑performing team supporting the Department of War Cyber Policy in Arlington and Alexandria. You will oversee multiple strategic initiatives that drive the DoD Cyber Strategy and Action Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and track implementation of nine strategic initiatives and 34 lines of effort supporting the DoD Cyber Strategy.
• Serve as a SETA project‑management advisor to cyber policy staff and senior leadership, providing coordination, execution support, and performance oversight.
• Generate and maintain Gantt charts, schedules, and critical‑path analyses to monitor milestones, resources, and dependencies.
• Identify, engage, and coordinate stakeholders across the cyber enterprise to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a high‑performing project team while interfacing with senior leadership and technical groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in program or project management for strategic defense initiatives.
• Ability to interact with senior‑level customers with the highest decorum.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (or ability to obtain before start date).

Required skills

• Microsoft Project expertise (Gantt charts, schedule building, detailed WBS, task dependencies).
• Proficiency in creating and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
