Project Executive

About the role

The Project Executive provides senior‑level leadership for commercial construction projects from business development through closeout, ensuring profitability, schedule, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects end‑to‑end, overseeing financial performance, schedule, quality, safety and risk management.
• Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate and pursue new opportunities and represent the company in proposals and negotiations.
• Partner with Preconstruction to develop budgets, schedules, logistics and risk strategies, and ensure seamless hand‑off to operations.
• Provide strategic direction to Project Managers and Superintendents, visit sites regularly, resolve escalated issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage project financials including cash flow, forecasting, cost control and subcontractor contracts.
• Mentor and develop project team members, monitor staffing and performance, and support recruiting and onboarding.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial (and/or residential) construction project delivery.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex projects and drive profitability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with owners, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Demonstrated safety and quality leadership in a construction environment.
