Project Engineer

About the role

C.A. Hull is seeking a Project Engineer to support bridge construction and rehabilitation projects across Michigan. The role works closely with the Project Management team, subcontractors, clients, and owners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of bridge construction and rehabilitation projects, including subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain direct relationships with clients, owners, and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) when applicable.
• Assist other departments such as Equipment, Estimating, or Safety as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience on transportation construction projects (preferred).
• Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and quality.

Required skills

• Understanding of project budgets, cost control, and financial management.
• Proficiency with construction software and general computer applications.
• Extreme attention to detail.
