Project Coordinator

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a range of educational and community programs. Reporting to senior administration, the coordinator will manage project lifecycles, oversee training classes, and ensure grant compliance across multiple initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct special research studies and monitor project/program activities.
• Develop new projects as directed and manage non‑credit training classes, including communications, venue scheduling, and large‑meeting planning.
• Employ, supervise, and evaluate faculty and staff involved in program delivery.
• Administer grants, prepare budgets, applications, and required reports.
• Schedule training sessions, maintain inventory, and attend recruitment events.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of programs such as Public School Relations, Carl Perkins grant, Early Care and Education, business‑industry customized training, and the community training center.

Required profile

• Highly organized and proactive with strong project‑management abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with faculty, staff, and external partners.
