Program Manager, Development – College of Agriculture & Natural Resources

About the role

The Division of University Relations seeks a highly organized Program Manager, Development to support the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will drive donor stewardship, manage key donor relationships, and help advance the college’s fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee a comprehensive donor relations and stewardship program.
• Develop meeting and event briefings, manage the unit’s budget, and create stewardship communications (letters, emails, impact reports, videos).
• Maintain accurate donor data in CRM systems and ensure proper use of scholarship, program, and endowment funds.
• Manage a portfolio of 25–35 annual‑gift prospects, cultivating them toward major‑gift consideration.
• Plan and execute the college’s participation in Giving Day and Giving Tuesday.
• Support donor events that advance fundraising and engagement goals.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with experience in higher‑education development or fundraising.
• Strong organizational and budget‑management abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating stewardship materials.

Required skills

• Experience with donor contact management systems such as Blackbaud and Salesforce.
• Proficiency using digital design and communication platforms to produce visual donor impact reports and solicitations.
