Program Coordinator – Summer Liberal Arts Institute

About the role

The Summer Liberal Arts Institute Program Coordinator is a key member of a small team delivering an immersive residential pre‑college experience for high‑school students at a top‑10 private liberal arts college. The role blends marketing, student employment management, and program logistics to support the Institute’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis, develop and execute digital and print marketing campaigns, and maintain the Institute’s website and brand continuity.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of student staff, including summer Program and Community Assistants.
• Oversee the competitive pre‑college application process, enrollment database, communications with applicants and families, and tuition collection.
• Coordinate residence hall assignments, campus vehicle use, classroom and event reservations, and the Summer Activities Schedule, providing on‑call coverage during program dates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in student affairs, marketing, conference services, hospitality, event planning, or admissions.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the summer program.

Required skills

• Database management and web content management.
• Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using Slate Technolutions.
• Social‑media content creation and promotion.
