Program Coordinator II – Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology

About the role

The Program Coordinator II supports the Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology (VTPP) academic programs at Texas A&M University, handling administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth course delivery, exam administration, and faculty support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee program implementation in collaboration with departmental leadership.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve program procedures and workflows.
• Coordinate course schedules, instructional materials, and faculty communications.
• Ensure teaching materials comply with university standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Oversee exam development, setup, reporting, and accommodation processes.
• Maintain and support Canvas courses and manage the VTPP course catalog via CourseLeaf.
• Verify undergraduate absences, manage ADA accommodations, and coordinate make‑up exams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of related administrative or program coordination experience.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems, particularly Canvas.
• Familiarity with CourseLeaf for catalog management.
