Professional Development Consultant (Real Estate)

About the role

The Professional Development Consultant will partner with Coldwell Banker Realty agents and regional leaders in the San Francisco market to accelerate new‑agent productivity and improve long‑term retention. The role blends one‑on‑one coaching, group facilitation and strategic content development to ensure agents adopt the company’s tools and align with its value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver 1:1, small‑group and cohort‑based training sessions that drive platform adoption and productivity for experienced agents (≈70% of time).
• Identify agents’ performance gaps, coordinate with field leaders and provide targeted coaching.
• Act as a strategic liaison to Regional Presidents and RVPs, sharing field trends, sourcing development resources and keeping leaders updated on learning initiatives (≈25% of time).
• Collaborate with CIH‑brand professional‑development teams to maintain consistent messaging, programming and onboarding experiences across brands (≈5% of time).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in agent development, performance coaching, brokerage enablement or a closely related field.
• Deep knowledge of the real‑estate transaction lifecycle and the drivers of agent productivity.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and relationship‑building abilities across diverse audiences.
• High emotional intelligence with proven capability to coach and influence senior professionals.
• Demonstrated skill in navigating and aligning multiple stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
