About the role
Clopay is seeking a second‑shift Production Supervisor for its Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility. You will lead a team to ensure safe operations, high quality output, and on‑time production while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforce safety training, PPE use, and lead incident investigations.
- Track and improve line efficiencies, recommend process or layout changes to reduce labor and material costs.
- Ensure product quality, meet production schedules, and manage vacation calendars and timekeeping.
- Lead monthly continuous‑improvement projects and conduct departmental meetings.
- Train, mentor, and develop employees while handling disciplinary actions as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in manufacturing and 3‑5 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction and work flexible hours when required.
