Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift will lead the day‑to‑day activities on the production floor, ensuring that autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) builds meet quality standards and delivery schedules. This position combines hands‑on technical oversight with team leadership in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, fostering safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Plan, schedule and execute integration operations to meet production targets.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Track production data, implement process improvements and drive cost reductions.
• Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols for ASV builds.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize workflows.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs and recommend new technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and supply‑chain teams on manufacturability and inventory control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in integration or production floor work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of fabricating, harness routing and lifting operations.
• Experience in the defense industry or with autonomous systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
