Production Lead – 1st Shift

About the role

This is a 1st‑shift Lead position within Philips’ manufacturing group in Reedsville, PA. The Lead is responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring quality compliance and supporting the team to meet daily targets.

Key responsibilities

• Report any disruptions or deviations in the production process to the Manufacturing Group Leader for swift resolution.
• Verify that components, parts, and documents meet quality specifications before moving to the next stage.
• Operate and supervise all relevant machinery, tools and equipment, executing both standard and complex production tasks.
• Monitor output quality, identify faulty products, and maintain detailed daily production records.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team, providing certification‑level job training as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, vocational education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience managing or leading a team of employees.
• Preferred certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or Safety and Health Fundamentals.
• Ability to meet the physical, cognitive and environmental requirements of a production/assembler role.
