Production Coordinator

About the role

Tarte Cosmetics is looking for a motivated Production Coordinator to support product launch and replenishment operations. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience in production planning and supply‑chain management within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile monthly supplier inventory reports to maintain accurate production and shipment data.
• Create, post, and close out shipments and production orders.
• Track production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of finished goods.
• Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders for launch and replenishment items.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm details, resolve delays, and escalate issues.
• Partner with internal teams (planning, logistics, product development) to support launches and replenishments.
• Utilize the ERP system for transactions, receipts, and reporting.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Support logistics coordination to meet timelines cost‑effectively.
• Maintain organized production records, samples, and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑2 years of experience in production, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs a plus).
• Experience using an ERP system.
