Production Artisan – Luxury Handbag Manufacturing

About the role

The Texas workshop of Louis Vuitton U.S. Manufacturing is looking for a Production Artisan to help craft high‑quality luxury handbags and small leather goods. You will work on a collaborative team, contributing to the creation of iconic products while developing versatile production skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture luxury handbags and small leather goods safely and to high quality standards.
• Meet performance targets for safety, quality, efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and workshop.
• Rotate across production departments such as assembly, preparation, and cutting.
• Identify improvement opportunities and take part in continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with other departments on new product development.
• Be punctual, organized and ready to work overtime when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes.
• Fluency in English and/or Spanish, with reading and writing capability.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sewing on leather or canvas (preferred, not required).
• Ability to operate equipment and manual tools safely.
• Manual dexterity and coordinated hand movements for grasping and manipulating objects.
