Product Manager, Search & AI

About the role

FanDuel is looking for a Product Manager to build the search and AI-assisted bet-building experience at the heart of its sportsbook. The role sits in the Emerging Experiences pillar, covering core search (how customers find markets, teams, players and events) and AceAI, an AI-powered product that helps customers navigate betting decisions. It works in small, autonomous pods of engineers and AI agents, and reports to a Lead PM in the Advanced Search area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple pods, defining the problem, owning prioritization and keeping teams moving
• Write clear specs, remove blockers and drive decisions with engineers and designers
• Improve core search: query understanding, relevance, ranking, results presentation and filtering
• Drive AceAI forward, turning identified value into well-defined, shippable features
• Use research, data analysis and competitive review to identify user problems, and set success criteria tracked after launch
• Run A/B experiments to validate hypotheses and use AI tooling and agents in pod workflows
• Contribute to the Advanced Search roadmap and collaborate across engineering, design, analytics, data and operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3+ years as a product manager or similar; 4-5 years typical for strong candidates
• Demonstrated experience building search, discovery or AI-powered features in consumer apps
• Ability to deliver independently across multiple priority streams in a quarter
• Experience shipping products with measurable outcomes

Required skills

• Experimentation fundamentals: designing tests, reasoning about metrics and linking decisions to conversion, engagement and retention
• Comfort with AI tooling and directing AI-assisted workflows
• Strong quantitative skills and data literacy
• Modern product practices and experimentation strategies

• Salary range of $94,000 - $129,250 depending on experience, location and market
