Product Manager – Clinical Operations

About the role

Veeva Systems is a leading SaaS provider for life‑sciences companies, helping bring therapies to patients faster. As a Product Manager for Veeva Clinical Operations you will own core features of the Vault Clinical Operations suite and drive enhancements that streamline trial execution.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for specific features, from concept through release and iteration.
• Engage directly with customers, domain experts and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand clinical workflows.
• Author clear feature specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria for Engineering, QA and UX teams.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer requests, enhancements and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as an application expert, providing documentation, demos and training to Sales, Solution Consultants, Professional Services and Support.
• Track usage metrics to evaluate feature performance and inform data‑driven decisions.
• Stay aligned with regulatory guidelines and industry updates impacting clinical trial management.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Proven track record of taking product features through the development lifecycle to launch.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving capabilities.
• Commitment to professional integrity and ethical decision‑making.
• Ability to travel up to 15% for customer research and internal events.

Required skills

• Domain knowledge in clinical operations (eTMF, CTMS, SSU, CDMS) from pharma, biotech, CRO or life‑sciences technology vendors.
• Experience in regulated environments (GCP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Familiarity with the Veeva Vault Platform.
