Product Manager – Claude Science Workbench

About the role

Anthropic is building Claude Science, an AI‑powered workbench that unifies literature, databases, scientific computing, analysis, and publication‑ready outputs for researchers. As a Product Manager you will own a major area of the roadmap, shaping the product from early discovery tools to enterprise‑ready solutions that accelerate scientific progress.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core segment of Claude Science and contribute to overall product direction.
• Spend extensive time with scientists in academia, biotech, pharma, and research institutes to understand real‑world workflows.
• Synthesize insights from interviews and working sessions into concrete product features and shipped releases.
• Partner with research teams to improve model capabilities for scientific use cases.
• Prioritize new scientific fields, model capabilities, and enterprise requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a product manager or founder, preferably in AI, scientific, or technical domains.
• Deep scientific or technical knowledge enabling conversations with structural biologists, computational chemists, and other specialists.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to uncover non‑obvious use cases for emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate user research into product decisions.
