Product Designer – New York

About the role

Be involved in every step of the product design cycle from discovery to developer handoff and user acceptance testing. Work with business analysts, product managers and tech teams to lead the product design effort while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the product design process from discovery through developer handoff and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with BAs, product managers and technical teams to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across all deliverables.
• Accurately estimate design tickets during planning sessions.
• Lead sketching sessions that involve non‑designers.
• Create, iterate and maintain UI deliverables such as Sketch files, style guides and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Make data‑driven design decisions by identifying assumptions, testing them each sprint and coordinating moderated usability tests with analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Proficiency with Sketch and either InVision or Framer X.
• Experience working in an agile environment with two‑week sprints.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for workflow management.
