Product Designer - Growth

About the role

Read AI is seeking a Product Designer to lead design for its growth initiatives. You will own activation, onboarding, and conversion experiences, directly influencing activation rates, conversion metrics, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end new user experience, from sign‑up to first value moment, identifying and fixing drop‑off points.
• Design paywalls, upgrade prompts, and trial‑to‑paid conversion surfaces, iterating through experiments.
• Establish a growth design workflow, creating reusable components and integrating design into the growth experiment cycle.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and data teams to set benchmarks, measure impact, and refine designs based on results.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating craft and design thinking.
• Experience or strong interest in activation, onboarding, conversion, or growth‑focused UX.
• Comfortable working in a test‑and‑learn environment and able to scope design for experiments.
• Self‑directed, collaborative, and able to interpret funnel data to inform design decisions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
• Ability to create and maintain design systems, reusable components, and templates.
