- Drive design strategy: partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define product direction and turn ambiguous problems into clear design opportunities.
- Guide designers so that AI features are transparent, trustworthy and explainable, using best-in-class design patterns.
- Advocate for users: translate complex legal workflows and technical constraints into seamless experiences.
- Manage, coach and grow a team of product designers, with clear feedback, mentorship and personalized growth plans.
- Set clear expectations, roles and impact, and participate in hiring and refining design operations.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of product design experience, including at least 2 years managing teams.
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Track record of shipping complex, high-impact products with Product and Engineering.
- Experience designing for sophisticated users and workflows such as enterprise, B2B SaaS, data-heavy or regulated domains.
- Process-driven, able to communicate complex ideas and work in ambiguity.
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions; Everlaw does not sponsor F-1 visas including OPT for this role.
What we offer
- Expected salary range of $209,000 - $293,000, depending on experience and skills.
- Equity program participation and 401(k) with company matching.
- Health, dental and vision insurance, HSAs and FSAs, and life and disability insurance.
- Paid parental leave, sick leave, 17 paid vacation days and 11 federal holidays.
- L&D stipend, mental health and wellness resources, and monthly home internet reimbursement.
