PRN Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

As a PRN Registered Nurse in the ED you will deliver compassionate, life‑saving care while supporting patients and families throughout their treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions and update plans of care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders, administer medications and treatments.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families using culturally appropriate materials.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Completion of Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire.
