About the role

Join PwC Private as a Private Tax Manager focused on the Japanese Business Network. You will support privately‑owned companies, entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth individuals with tax compliance, planning and advisory services across the full business life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and planning advice to private clients, including wealth management, cash‑flow optimisation and equity transactions.
• Assist clients with divestiture, exit strategies and other complex tax issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop customised service plans.
• Analyse client data and global trends to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and professional standards.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience in tax advisory or private business services.
• Strong analytical abilities and a client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to coach junior staff and drive team effectiveness.
• Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex tax concepts.
