Principal Scientist – ADME/PK

About the role

Shasqi is building next‑generation tumor‑targeting therapies using click‑chemistry pre‑targeting. As a Principal Scientist, ADME/PK you will lead pharmacokinetic, biodistribution and translational modelling programs that support candidate selection, IND‑enabling studies and first‑in‑human strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute ADME/PK strategies for biologic‑small‑molecule pre‑targeted therapeutics.
• Lead PK/PD and biodistribution study design, analysis and interpretation across pre‑clinical programs.
• Partner with chemistry, protein engineering, bioanalytical and toxicology teams to optimize delivery efficiency and exposure.
• Build mechanistic PK/PD models to predict human dosing and support clinical hypothesis generation.
• Present data and strategic recommendations to leadership, investors and external collaborators.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering or related field.
• 4+ years of industry ADME/PK experience, including leadership on therapeutic programs.
• Deep expertise in PK of biologics or targeted delivery systems (e.g., ADCs, bispecifics).
• Demonstrated experience with QSP and PK/PD modelling and regulatory IND expectations.

Required skills

• Pharmacokinetics and ADME study design.
• PK/PD and quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modelling.
• Modeling tools: Phoenix WinNonlin, NONMEM, Monolix, MATLAB.
• In‑vivo biodistribution and mass‑balance studies.
• Click‑chemistry platforms (tetrazine‑TCO) and imaging‑based biodistribution (PET/SPECT, fluorescence).
