Principal Product Manager – Analytics

About the role

Elsevier is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the transformation of analytics delivery through AI for internal and external customers across its Healthcare Education portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for AI‑enabled analytics across nursing and medical education products.
• Identify opportunities to use AI to simplify analytics, surface insights, improve decision support, and enable personalized experiences.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development from discovery and prioritization through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear product strategies, requirements, and experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, subject‑matter experts, and customer‑facing teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, and trade‑offs to achieve cross‑functional alignment.
• Establish measures of success such as adoption, usability, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Use customer feedback, product data, and analytics to inform prioritization and continuously improve products.
• Champion responsible and practical use of AI, focusing on quality, privacy, transparency, and trust.
• Maintain a prioritized, outcome‑driven backlog and support agile planning and delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technology products, data products, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong product leadership with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering AI‑, analytics‑, data‑, or insight‑driven products.
• Practical understanding of AI, analytics, experimentation, and data products.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear product strategies and meaningful customer value.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
• Strong product and project management skills in an agile environment.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, education, healthcare education, or enterprise software.
