Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack JavaScript

About the role

We are looking for a collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join a fast‑paced, Agile team building mission‑critical products for the Health Markets space. You will work across the full stack, delivering high‑quality features while partnering closely with product, design, and QA.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Node.js/Express.js on the backend.
• Translate product requirements into well‑architected code and robust RESTful APIs.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests and enforce code quality through reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, using Jenkins to build, test, and deploy features.
• Write and maintain documentation, including code comments, READMEs, and API specs.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver long‑term fixes.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to raise team standards.
• Collaborate with QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• Professional experience developing full‑stack JavaScript applications.
• Strong proficiency with React (hooks, state management) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub workflows, pull‑requests, and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with linting (ESLint) and automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration.
