Principal Process Engineer – Warehouse

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead logistics design for large‑molecule, aseptic biotherapeutic drug product operations. The role will own end‑to‑end process engineering of warehouse equipment and material handling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of logistics area specifications, drawings, and technical documents supporting biotherapeutic manufacturing.
• Provide technical leadership for logistics equipment, assess vendor capabilities, and manage project execution through design, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start‑up.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Procurement, Automation, Inventory Management, Cold Chain, and EHS to align priorities and accelerate delivery.
• Resolve complex technical and regulatory issues, ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and customer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of logistics process engineering and capital project execution in a large‑molecule biotherapeutic cGMP environment.
• Proven experience in floorplan design, simulation modeling, process mapping, and time studies to maximize flow efficiency.
• Strong partnership building with cross‑functional and external stakeholders.
