Principal – Cognitive Manufacturing

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Principal to lead its Cognitive Manufacturing practice. The role involves partnering with leading manufacturers to design and execute digital transformation strategies that leverage AI, IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements to define manufacturing transformation roadmaps and business cases.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to shape AI‑enabled operations, smart factory and digital‑thread initiatives.
• Guide delivery teams, monitor progress and ensure measurable performance improvements across supply chain, quality and product industrialization.
• Mentor junior consultants, contribute thought leadership and support business development activities.
• Help expand the Cognitive Manufacturing service offering by creating new market propositions.

Required profile

• 12 + years of experience in manufacturing, consulting or business transformation.
• Deep knowledge of complex manufacturing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defense or industrial products.
• Understanding of discrete, continuous, batch, make‑to‑stock, make‑to‑order and engineer‑to‑order operating models.
• Proven ability to advise senior executives using Industry 4.0 maturity models and transformation frameworks.
