Primary Care Physician for Youth Residential Program (Astoria, OR)

About the role

PsyPhyCare seeks a part‑time Primary Care Physician to deliver on‑site medical services for a federally supported residential youth program serving ages 16–24 in Astoria, Oregon.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical evaluations within 48 hours of student entry and perform routine physical examinations.
• Order, review, and oversee required entry laboratory studies and immunizations, including hepatitis B, TB skin testing, and vaccine boosters.
• Perform vision and hearing screenings and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide prescription services in coordination with nursing staff and refer students to off‑site specialists as needed.
• Document clinical care accurately and ensure compliance with federal program standards.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Oregon physician license allowing independent practice.
• Current DEA registration, CPR/AED certification, and active malpractice and general liability insurance.
• Experience in adolescent health, family medicine, community health, or similar primary‑care settings preferred.
