Primary Care Physician – Bay St. Louis

About the role

Ochsner Health is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join its primary‑care team in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The position focuses on delivering comprehensive outpatient care within an integrated health‑system environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a refill center that processes more than 70 % of prescription refills.
• Utilize ambient listening tools and remote messaging nurses to reduce documentation and inbox burden.
• Collaborate with LPN Care Coordinators and Outpatient Care Managers to close care gaps and address social determinants of health.
• Participate in on‑call rotations supported by Ochsner On‑Call services.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Experience working in a multi‑specialty, integrated health‑care delivery model.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care, teaching, research, or community service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Experience using digital medicine platforms for chronic‑condition management.
