Prevailing Wage Groundskeeper/Porter

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter ensures the community’s physical environment is clean, safe, and attractive, supporting both residents and the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, pet droppings and keeping amenities tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist make‑ready specialists, and change locks per policy.
• Distribute resident notices, report hazards, and uphold safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to interact respectfully with residents, answer questions, and handle complaints sensitively.
• Willingness to attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents promptly.
