Preschool Teacher – Morning Program (Full-Time/Part-Time)

About the role

Discovery Kidzone is seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join the DKZ North location in Bozeman. You will design engaging morning‑program classrooms, build strong relationships with families, and collaborate with a supportive leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily learning experiences.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s developmental progress.
• Build trusting relationships with families through regular communication.
• Mentor and support Assistant Teachers, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Maintain classroom organization that meets health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements.
• Partner with center leadership to deliver high‑quality early childhood education.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and team‑oriented with a collaborative leadership style.
• Passion for working with preschool‑aged children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet all Montana licensing, training, and background‑check requirements.
