About the role

30hop Restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic Prep Cook to join its vibrant full‑service kitchen in Coralville, Iowa. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the culinary team by preparing ingredients and maintaining a clean workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and stock food items and supplies for service.
• Prepare ingredients and sauces according to recipes and standards.
• Cook food using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including proper food storage.
• Assist with inventory checks and complete food storage logs.
• Communicate clearly with chefs and team members on the line.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of prep‑cook experience in an upscale casual or full‑service restaurant.
• Ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Friendly, professional, and team‑oriented demeanor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer

• Starting pay $15.00/hour, based on experience.
