Premium Supervisor - VIP Stand

About the role

A Premium Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of stand workers in the VIP area of an event venue in Phoenix. The role covers stand set-up and closing, keeping workstations clean and stocked, managing staff and ensuring compliance with food and beverage policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stand workers in the VIP area and oversee or take part in stand set-up and closing (counting inventory, prep, cleaning)
• Keep workstations clean and well stocked, order replacement stock from runners and complete required paperwork accurately
• Ensure staff follow alcohol policies and that food preparation meets Legends' and the board of health's guidelines
• Be able to fill any position in the location if needed, and help count ending inventory, clean equipment and organise stock at closing
• Work with the customer service department to improve service, and input daily event sheets and reports
• Do inventory at assigned locations, handle and post area schedules, and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Comply with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures, and follow safety policies and report incidents through the company's risk management system

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location
• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services

Required skills

• Knowledge of the POS system, including voids, credit card issues and closing procedures
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area
• Ability to read, write and understand English, and to perform simple calculations
