Pre-Analytics Team Lead

About the role

The Pre-Analytics Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the department’s courier training program and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. This full‑time position works on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and supports both internal and vendor couriers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including staffing, service levels, quality, and safety.
• Manage hiring, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee onboarding.
• Investigate and resolve routine operational and patient issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement improvements, and communicate critical issues to senior management.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, and development for lead technicians and team leaders.
• Order and maintain supplies required for courier operations.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree with three years of laboratory experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with five years of experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, leadership experience, and 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to work stationary for extended periods, operate a computer, and travel throughout the hospital system.
