Practice Director, Business Development (Technology)

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Practice Director for its Technology practice in La Jolla. The role leads business generation, sets direction and motivates direct reports, takes part in recruiting new hires and communicates across all levels of the organization. The total headcount is up to 4, including the practice director.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain above-average performance metrics and drive revenue-generating activities and practice group performance
• Meet productivity standards for the individual and staff, and reach target performance metrics
• Build and expand the customer base, retain customers and build loyalty through superior service
• Manage pricing goals and business generation targets based on location
• Recruit new hires, train, develop and retain staff, and promote a collaborative, inclusive culture
• Resolve issues with internal staff, clients and candidates and lead change efforts

Required profile

• 1+ years of talent solutions and/or management experience, or equivalent
• Proven performance in a talent manager or director role
• Demonstrated success in business generation and business development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred

Required skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases and other technology systems

What we offer

• Salary range of $70,304 to $89,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a bonus based on performance objectives
