About the role
The successful candidate will conduct high‑level theoretical research at the intersection of theoretical physics and artificial intelligence. The position is based in Boston and works closely with senior investigators from the NSF AI Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions (IAIFI).
Key responsibilities
- Perform original research aligned with the IAIFI mission, collaborating with scientists from Harvard, MIT, and Tufts.
- Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present results at conferences and seminars.
Required profile
- PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or a closely related field completed before the start date.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high‑energy theory and machine learning techniques.
