Postdoctoral Research Associate – Feed Management Education

About the role

The Feed Management Committee seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead educational initiatives for NRCS personnel and other stakeholders, developing workshops, webinars, and online courses on sustainable feeding practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver targeted educational programs, including workshops, webinars, and online courses for NRCS staff, Extension professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement a “Train the Trainers” program to equip conservation professionals with feed management tools.
• Collaborate with the Feed Management Committee to align training materials with project goals and latest scientific research.
• Create training resources for online platforms and in‑person workshops and support outreach strategies to maximize adoption of sustainable feed management practices.

Required profile

• PhD in animal science, soil and crop sciences, agricultural education, or a related field.
• Experience in developing and delivering educational programs in agriculture or animal science is preferred.
• Preferred background includes multiple species production or animal nutrition related to feed management.

Required skills

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proven experience delivering educational content online and in person.
• Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
