About the role
The Texas A&M Transportation Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join its Air Quality and Environment Division. The role can be based at any of the Institute's urban offices in Texas and offers a hybrid work arrangement after an initial on‑site period.
Key responsibilities
- Report onsite for the first 30 days at a Texas‑based office before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
- Conduct research on air quality, transportation emissions, and related environmental topics.
- Collaborate with nationally recognized experts and support research sponsors to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings through reports and publications.
- Utilize the Institute’s accredited laboratories, safety proving ground, and advanced research facilities.
Required profile
- Post‑doctoral level researcher with a recent Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Texas if eligible for assistance.
