About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the Nikhil Panicker Lab in the Neurosciences department. The position provides practical training and experience in neurodegeneration research under the supervision of a principal investigator and is funded on the NIH NRSA postdoctoral salary scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute independent research projects, including data generation, analysis, interpretation and manuscript preparation.
- Lead research projects independently while collaborating with the broader laboratory team.
Required profile
- PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field (MD with relevant laboratory experience may substitute for PhD).
- Demonstrated commitment to research, collaborative work ethic, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in molecular neuroscience, mouse models of neurodegeneration, or iPSC‑based disease modeling is highly preferred.
