Port Class A Truck Driver – Intermodal

About the role

All Modal Transportation is seeking experienced Class A truck drivers to operate intermodal trucks that move containers between the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and customer locations. This full‑time, company‑driver position offers home daily and year‑round work.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a truck tractor to transport containers to and from the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections and refuel the tractor as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the shift using a hands‑free device.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork, including required photographs.
• Weigh containers and handle empty or heavy loads when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Minimum three years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
• At least one year of experience hauling containers at a port.
• Ability to work up to 14 hours per day and pass a DOT pre‑employment drug test.
