Port Class A Truck Driver

About the role

All Modal Transportation is seeking experienced intermodal truck drivers to transport containers between the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach and customer locations. The position is full‑time, company‑driver status with home‑daily schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a truck tractor to haul containers to and from the ports.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections and fueling.
• Communicate with dispatch using a hands‑free device throughout the shift.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork, photos, and container weighing records.
• Handle container loading/unloading and weigh‑in/out as required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Minimum three years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
• At least one year of experience hauling containers at a port.
• Ability to work up to 14 hours per day and pass a DOT pre‑employment drug test.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, lift, and sit for extended periods.
