Planning and Design Intern

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Real Estate Services Group is seeking a Planning and Design Intern to support multidisciplinary projects across its facilities. This 10‑12 week, full‑time internship provides hands‑on experience with digital modeling, 3D scanning, and construction project support.

Key responsibilities

• Support design and facility management activities, ensuring alignment with Bank standards.
• Collect and manage 3D point‑cloud scan data using handheld scanners and maintain the hosting platform.
• Assist the construction management team from pre‑construction coordination through close‑out.
• Maintain electronic files and documentation for accurate space‑related information.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Architecture or Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• At least one semester remaining before graduation.
• Ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment and multitask.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
