Pipe Foreman – Mainline Utilities (Storm/Sewer/Water)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead mainline utility projects involving storm, sewer, and water systems. The role includes overseeing trench work, pipe installation, and site restoration while ensuring safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and surveys to lay out work and develop grades.
• Organize and manage material and equipment deliveries.
• Generate daily work logs, apply cost codes, and track quantities.
• Ensure safety compliance on all activities.
• Communicate with owners, management, and coworkers for project coordination.
• Delegate tasks, hold team members accountable, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in deep trench work and pipe laying for sanitary, storm, and water mainlines.
• At least 2 years experience running jobs.
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to professionally represent the company and train others.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and surveys.
• Competency with smartphones, tablets, and computers for job tracking.
• Experience using Heavy Job and HCSS software.

What we offer

• Annual salary range $80,000 – $115,000 (USD) including a benefits package.
