Physician – ESA

About the role

The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing. This full‑time position involves direct patient care, on‑call duties, and active participation in departmental meetings and committees.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care activities in accordance with national patient safety goals.
• Maintain a robust practice volume by seeing out‑patients and managing follow‑up care.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to urgent patient needs.
• Contribute to meetings, committees, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Board eligible or board certified (preferred).
• Active DEA certificate without restrictions.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and computer literacy.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for electronic health record systems.
