Physical Therapist – Inpatient Care (Kings Hwy)

About the role

This role evaluates patients and provides inpatient physical therapy treatment programs based on physician orders. The therapist collaborates with the healthcare team to guide patients toward appropriate post‑acute or home care to achieve their specific goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment programs.
• Assess patient response to therapy and modify plans to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with documentation standards.
• Ensure treatment protocols support hospital quality and safety targets.
• Adapt communication and care approach to respect patient privacy and preferences.
• Travel between facilities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent judgment and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
