Physical Therapist – Full‑time Outpatient Clinic

About the role

Citizens Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation department in Colby, Kansas. The role involves delivering evidence‑based patient care, supervising assistants, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, re‑evaluations and screenings in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with functional goals and provide hands‑on therapy during clinic hours (7 AM‑6 PM).
• Supervise and instruct Physical Therapy Assistants and clinical affiliates.
• Document treatment progress and communicate updates to physicians, patients, and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and eligible for Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure.
• Current Kansas Physical Therapy license and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Strong communication, collaborative problem‑solving and patient‑centered care orientation.

Required skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning.
• Supervision of therapy assistants.
• CPR certification.
