Physical Therapist – Acute Care & Rehab Services

About the role

The Physical Therapist provides inpatient evaluation and treatment programs in acute care and rehabilitation settings, following physician orders and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient‑specific goals and safe discharge planning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Deliver inpatient physical therapy services, monitor patient response, and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with documentation standards.
• Contribute to hospital quality and safety targets through adherence to treatment protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care.
• Travel between facilities as required and perform other related duties assigned.

Required profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current state PT license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: No prior work experience required.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
